The Netherlands, one of the founders of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), allocated 40 million euros in grants to support the bank's operation in Ukraine during the annual meeting.
This is stated in the bank's press release, as reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
"Donor support for Ukraine through the EBRD continues to grow and amounts to about 1.5 billion euros," the statement says.
It is noted that this contribution follows a 70 million euro grant to support the Ukrenergo bank loan.
In addition, the Netherlands provided guarantees of 25 million euros to support private companies operating in critically important fields of Ukraine's agricultural sector, including agriculture, the food industry, transport and import.
