The state budget received nearly 2 billion UAH from Google Tax in Q1 – Hetmantsev

Following the simplified declarations of value-added tax submitted for the first quarter of 2023 by non-resident entities, nearly €23.5 million and $27.1 million have been declared, equating to 1.9 billion UAH.

This was reported by Danylo Hetmantsev, Head of the Verkhovna Rada's financial committee.

It's pointed out that the company OnlyFans has accrued $620,000 in tax since the beginning of the year and has paid 23.3 million UAH to the Ukrainian budget. Moreover, according to the deputy, the service has fully exited russia and is only financing the Ukrainian army.

Hetmantsev stated that in the first quarter of this year, the largest sums were declared by companies such as Google Play, Google, Etsy, SONY, Netflix, Apple, META, Valve Software and AMAZON.

"As of April 1, 2023, there were 87 taxpayers registered, which was 30 more non-resident entities compared to the number of such entities registered as of April 1, 2022," he said.

According to his information, as of May 24, 2023, international companies have already paid almost 3.2 billion UAH of VAT to the army.
