The air defence forces shot down 10 cruise missiles, 23 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones, and 2 reconnaissance drones.
This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The regular night attack by russian occupiers began at the end of the day on 25 May at 10:00 p.m. and lasted until 05.00 on 26 May. The enemy shifted the direction of the attack eastwards.
Overall, launches of 17 different types of missiles and 31 attack drones were recorded:
Hits of attack drones and several S-300/S-400 missiles occurred in Kharkiv and Dnipro oblasts.
Meanwhile, the Kyiv City State Administration reported that the defenders had downed all missiles heading for Kyiv. The debris from destroyed targets fell in the Obolonskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kyiv – on a shopping mall (without fire and critical destruction) and on a private house (roof and window damaged, no casualties) respectively.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the air defence forces had shot down all 36 Shahed UAVs during a night attack on Ukraine. The enemy intended to attack critical infrastructure and military facilities in the west of the country.
