The NACP has added Oreo and Milka manufacturer to the list of war sponsors

In 2022, Mondelez contributed more than $61 million in taxes to the russian budget

Mondelez International, a company producing confectionery, food and beverages, has made it onto the list of international war sponsors.

This was reported by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention.

The company did not withdraw from the russian federation following the outbreak of full-scale war.

"The interests of the company, which has an annual revenue of about $26 billion and operates in 160 countries worldwide, are represented in the russian market by the LLC Mondelez Rus. The company has three factories: the Bolshevik factory, which produces Yubileinoe cookies, OREO, Barni Bear and TUC crackers, a production facility in Pokrov (manufacturing Alpen Gold, Vozdushny, Milka chocolate, and Picnic bars), and a factory in Veliky Novgorod (producing Dirol chewing gum and Halls candies)," the NACP press service wrote.

The company is a market leader in the confectionery sector for chocolate, chocolate sweets, and biscuits, and holds second place in the chewing gum and candies category.

By the end of the war-ridden 2022, the profit of the russian branch of Mondelez International amounted to $339 million (+303% per year), with revenue surpassing $1 billion (+38% per year). Consequently, the budget of the terrorist nation was boosted by over $61 million in taxes.
