National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is conducting searches in the office of the head of the board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, Yevhen Liashchenko.
This is reported by ZN.UA, referring to a source in NABU.
According to the publication's interlocutor, searches are taking place in the case of misuse found in the railway company's purchases. A vehicle is also involved in this case, which one of the
Ukrzaliznytsia officials received "for certain services" during the procurement.
As part of this case, on 22 May, NABU conducted investigative actions against the director of economic and information security of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, Eduard Kritsyn. He oversees the internal security service of Ukrzaliznytsia, which is related to all the company's tenders. Before this, Kritsin worked at the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
