NERC approves a 10-year development plan for Ukraine's GTS amounting to 52.5 billion UAH

The GTS operator plans to invest funds in the reconstruction of gas pipelines, the purchase of equipment and the implementation of technologies

The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities (NERC) approved the GTS operator's proposed plan for the development of the gas transportation system for the years 2023-2032.

It was approved today at a regulator's meeting.

According to the document, the funds for the development of the gas transport system for 10 years will be directed to (amounts are indicated excluding VAT): gas pipelines – 3.9 billion UAH, compressor stations – 27.7 billion UAH; gas distribution stations – 6.3 billion UAH; gas measuring stations and points – 2.5 billion UAH; network operation – 328 million UAH; modernisation and purchase of transport vehicles – 1.4 billion UAH; purchase of diagnostic and inspection devices – 1 billion UAH; implementation and development of information technologies – 112 million UAH; other – 138 million UAH.
