21 settlements remain flooded, with only 4 in controlled territory

The average water level in Kherson Oblast has dropped to 0.74 metres.

This is reported by the Headquarters for the Elimination of Consequences of the Kakhovka HPP Dam Sabotage.

According to operational data, a total of 21 localities are flooded: 4 on the right bank and 17 on the left bank. Overall, 832 houses are flooded in Ukrainian-controlled territory.

Since the beginning of the day, State Emergency Service rescuers have pumped out over 12 tonnes of water, and a total of over 135,000 tonnes from 505 houses and basements.

Background. The water level in Kherson Oblast dropped by almost 5 metres after the dam explosion. At the same time, the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir dropped below 7 metres.
