The Czech Republic will provide Ukraine with a new military aid package.
This was announced by Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala.
Ukraine's Armed Forces will receive more attack helicopters and "hundreds of thousands" more large-calibre ammunition in the coming months. The Czech Republic will also help Ukraine train pilots for F-16s and provide flight simulators so that training can take place not only abroad.
The Czech representative added that his country has already provided Ukraine's defenders with 676 pieces of heavy equipment and more than 4 million rounds of medium and large calibre ammunition.
"This means that every day, starting from the first day of the war, about 10,000 units of ammunition and at least one tank, rocket launcher, howitzer, etc. have been sent from Czechia to Ukraine," Fiala said.
Background. Previously, Mind reported that Finland would send Ukraine air defence equipment and ammunition worth €105 million. The decision was made by Finnish President Sauli Niinistö on the basis of a government proposal.
