US House of Representatives rejects amendments to the law that would have 'cut' aid to Ukraine

The US House of Representatives has finished considering amendments to the National Defence Authorisation Act for Fiscal Year 2024 (NDAA). All proposals related to the cancellation of aid to Ukraine for the next year were rejected.

This was reported by Ukraine's Ambassador to the USA, Oksana Markarova.

The diplomat explained that a series of amendments, which proposed to cancel:

Markarova added that officials had preserved aid to Ukraine in that way, but there were still votes in general, Senate NDAA voting, House conference, and re-voting ahead.
