Almost 600 Polish companies operate in Ukraine. According to rough estimates, over two thousand more have expressed interest in entering the Ukrainian market.
Source. This was discussed during a meeting of the Polish economic mission with Ukrainian officials, Polish Radio reports.
Today and tomorrow, the Polish economic mission is in Lviv and Lutsk. The delegation includes Polish companies.
Budimex Commercial Director Marek Gromaszek noted that the company sees the Ukrainian market as very promising:
"Budimex has been present on the Ukrainian market before and wants to return there. The mayor of Lviv [Andriy Sadovyi] said that solidarity corridors are the most important issue now, and we actually specialize in the construction of roads and railways. We have experience in this field and would like to implement it in Ukraine."
For his part, Rafał Szewfler, director of the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the woodworking industry, said that Polish companies in this sector would like to further emphasize their presence on the Ukrainian market:
"We are the largest producer of windows and doors, so we can prove that we are able, willing and able."
Background. As a reminder, Poland secretly handed over about ten Mi-24 helicopters to Ukraine – the transfer of helicopters from Poland was not publicly announced.
