President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law that will allow the discharge of military personnel whose close relatives were killed or went missing during martial law.

In particular, it is noted that the husband, wife, son, daughter, mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, brother or sister of people who died or went missing during the war will be eligible for dismissal.
The draft law applies to military personnel serving under conscription during mobilization and under contract.
Background. The other day, the General Staff commented on the ban on traveling around Ukraine without permission from military enlistment offices and confirmed that it was forbidden. Later, Yevheniia Ryabeka, an adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, clarified that it was only a matter of changing the place of residence or registration. This was also confirmed by the commander-in-chief himself, noting that those who are liable for military service who plan to move outside their districts and regions must obtain permission from military enlistment offices.
