The state enterprise Antonov has once again become a 100% owner of the German company Antonov Logistic Salis – a company established to service cargo air transport under the NATO programme, having achieved the exclusion of Belgian Cargo Air Solutions from its shareholders, which previously owned 49% of the shares.
This is mentioned in the company's statement.
"From yesterday, our enterprise is the sole shareholder of the German subsidiary Antonov Logistic Salis. Now, all dividends from its operations will go to the accounts of the Antonov state enterprise. The matter has been settled," the statement of the state enterprise on Thursday quoted the words of acting General Director, Evhen Havrylov.
It is clarified that the case of the Antonov state enterprise and Cargo Air Solutions was heard in German courts, including the Higher Regional Court of Dresden, where the companies managed to prove the falsification of a protocol of a shareholders' meeting, which became the basis for the exclusion of Cargo Air Solutions from the list of shareholders.
"We corrected the mistake of the former management of Antonov, whose actions allowed the sale of shares to an unknown company, established less than a month before the purchase of shares. This fact was reported in the media back in 2021. In June 2023, at a shareholders' meeting, Antonov approved the decision to exclude Cargo Air Solutions from the list of shareholders," the release said, citing Olha Abramova, Director for Legal Affairs and Corporatisation of Antonov.
According to her, the Belgian company tried to block this decision in court, but to no avail.
Background. The state enterprise reminded that the first contract of Antonov Logistic Salis regarding the NATO programme was signed in 2019 for three years. In June last year, it was extended until the end of 2026.
Antonov carries out air transport for NATO and EU countries for the emergency delivery of goods in crisis situations. Two An-124-100 Ruslan aircraft can be used. They are to be on stand-by at Leipzig airport (Germany), and on additional call, Antonov provides three more aircraft.
