EU Ambassadors approve new sanction package against Belarus

Restrictions will apply to the aviation sector and dual-use goods

EU ambassadors have approved a new package of sanctions against Belarus.

This was reported by Radio Free Europe journalist, Rikard Jozwiak.

According to him, the restrictions will apply to the aviation sector and dual-use goods. In addition, there is currently no talk of lifting sanctions against Belarusian potash fertiliser manufacturers.

Spain, which currently presides over the EU Council, confirms this information and adds that the restrictive measures include the addition of individuals and legal entities to lists.
