The SBU and SBI are conducting searches of MP Oleksandr Dubinsky

It is likely he went abroad for a holiday, under the pretext of his father's treatment

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) are carrying out searches on MP Oleksandr Dubinsky.

This is reported by the press service of the SBU.

Law enforcement officers do not name the MP, but from media photographs, it's clear that the searches are of Dubinsky. According to the SBU, under the guise of a relative's treatment, he went on holiday abroad.

The investigation is verifying the circumstances and legality of his departure abroad during the martial law. In addition, the facts of Dubinsky signing official documents during his stay outside Ukraine are being investigated, which may indicate their forgery.

The SBU has opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 366 of the Criminal Code (Official Forgery) and part 3 of article 362 (Unauthorised Actions with Information Processed in Electronic Computers, Automated Systems, Computer Networks, or Stored on Carriers of Such Information, Committed by a Person Who Has Access to It).

The sanction of the articles provides for a punishment of up to 6 years imprisonment with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to 3 years.
