The Ministry for Restoration and USAID are launching a community energy resilience project, announced the head of the department, Oleksandr Kubrakov.

Among the tasks remains the restoration of damaged infrastructure and protection of energy objects. The ministry and specialists from the USA are working together on the best technical solutions.

The parties have also agreed to draft a project roadmap in the near future and identify communities for the launch of pilot projects.

"Our task now is not only to ensure the successful passage of the heating season but also to implement comprehensive solutions for the stable operation of the energy system in the coming years," explained Kubrakov.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the EBRD would help Ukraine switch thermal power plants to low-carbon energy sources. As part of the project, they will select facilities that have suffered significant damage and destruction.
