Romanian troops in Plauru, a town on the opposite side of the Danube from the Ukrainian port of Izmail, have found fragments of a drone "similar to those used by the Russian army."

Romanian President Klaus Ioannis has already discussed the discovery with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
"I strongly condemned this violation of our sovereign airspace, which endangers Romanian citizens in the area," the Romanian president tweeted.
Stoltenberg also commented on the conversation. According to him, "there is no evidence that there was an intention to strike NATO, but these strikes are destabilizing."
"I welcome the U.S. decision to deploy more F-16s for NATO air patrols. We stand in solidarity with Romania," Stoltenberg added.
In recent weeks, Russia has repeatedly shelled Ukraine's Danube ports of Izmail and Reni.
