Russian occupiers launched a missile attack on a cafe shop in the village of Groza, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, where a wake was held on the occasion of the reburial of a Ukrainian soldier.

"The wake was held in connection with the reburial of a fallen Ukrainian soldier. Before that, he was buried in Dnipro, and his relatives wanted to rebury him in the village where he came from. The burial was organized by the family of the deceased soldier, namely his son and wife. The son of the reburied man was also a soldier. The son, along with his wife and mother, were in a cafe and were killed by a rocket," Chubenko said.
To recap, at about 13:25 on October 5, the occupiers launched a missile attack, allegedly with an Iskander-M, on a cafe shop in the village of Groza, Kupyansk district, Kharkiv region. As a result, 51 people died and 6 were hospitalized with injuries.
According to Serhiy Bolvinov, deputy head of the regional police department and head of the investigation department, as of the evening of October 5, 35 of the dead had been identified. DNA testing will be needed to identify the rest.
He also noted that the strike was targeted and said that investigators and operatives were looking for the gunners.
As reported, rescuers have completed work at the site of the missile strike in the village of Groza, Kharkiv region.
"The work has been completed. 51 people were killed, six were injured," the press service of the State Emergency Service in Kharkiv region reported.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, October 6-8 were declared days of mourning for the victims.
