Zelenskyy says he is ready to discuss Trump's peace plan, but Ukraine "will not give up Donbas and Crimea to Russia"

He emphasized that Ukraine is not ready for such a peace plan

In an interview with Fox News, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured that he is ready to discuss the peace plan proposed by the former US president with Donald Trump, but will not make territorial concessions.

According to Zelenskyy, he is ready to talk to Trump, who has repeatedly stated that he can reach a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine very quickly.

"If he has a very specific peace plan, he can share it with me. Yes, we can stop this war if we give up Donbas and Crimea to Russia. In my opinion, our country will not be ready for such a peace plan. This is not a peaceful plan," the President of Ukraine said.

Earlier, Zelenskyy invited Trump to Ukraine and said he was ready to explain to the former US president in "24 minutes" why he could not stop the war. Trump responded by saying that it would be inappropriate for him to visit Ukraine now.

Background. As a reminder, according to German analysts, freezing Russia's war against Ukraine could lead to Russia's attack on NATO countries in 6-10 years.
