The Security Service of Ukraine is preparing many surprises for the enemy in order to destroy not only the Crimean Bridge, but also to liberate all Ukrainian territories from the occupiers together with the Defense Forces.
The SBU Head Vasyl Maliuk told about this in the first episode of the documentary series "SBU. Special Operations of Victory". In particular, the film reveals the details of the preparation of operations to destroy the Crimean bridge, the SBU press service informs on its official telegram channel.
"There will be many surprises to come. And not only about the Crimean bridge. The bridge is doomed," said Malyuk.
He emphasized that the SBU has two successful attacks on the bridge: the first in October 2022 with a truck with explosives, and the second in July 2023 with marine drones.
According to Vasyl Malyuk, the Crimean Bridge is an absolutely legitimate target for Ukraine: international law, the laws and customs of war, as well as Ukrainian legislation allow the attack on this facility to disrupt the enemy's military logistics.
The bridge's destruction has significantly complicated the supply of weapons and ammunition to Russian troops. As of today, this logistics corridor is not fully functional: road transport moves in reverse, there are weight restrictions for vehicles and railroad restrictions on the number of cars. Therefore, the enemy mainly uses ferry services to transport ammunition.
The SBU Head is convinced that the successful use of maritime drones has significantly changed not only the approach to naval operations, but also the philosophy of warfare in general.
"These are not just my words. This is the opinion of all our Western partners, naval officers, and heads of special services," he said.
Vasyl Malyuk noted that Sea Baby is not just a naval drone, but a multi-purpose platform that is being actively used for various tasks.
In October 2022, SBU naval drones attacked enemy ships in the Sevastopol Bay. Four warships were damaged, including the Admiral Makarov frigate. And this year, SBU drones hit the Samum and Pavel Derzhavin missile carriers, the SIG tanker, the Olenegorskiy Gornyak landing ship, and damaged the Nikolai Muru large military tugboat and the newest reconnaissance and hydrographic ship, the Vladimir Kozitsky.
