Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said in an interview with CNBC that the World Economic Forum in Davos was very encouraging for Ukraine in general.
"The atmosphere here was positive in the sense that people are looking for solutions instead of endlessly discussing problems," he said in a commentary to the TV channel.
"President Zelensky had excellent meetings with both the political leadership and business leaders. And the messages that were received from both sides are very encouraging," the minister said.
"The most important thing is that you feel and hear the commitment and readiness to support Ukraine, to continue to help in one way or another," he added.
Kuleba said that he sees no change in the tone of the US administration regarding the approaches Ukraine should take to war and diplomacy.
"I have no reason to doubt the sincerity of the Biden administration's commitment to continue to help Ukraine," he said.
"I also have no reason to believe that the U.S. Republican Party as a whole doesn't realize how important it is to defeat Russia in Ukraine and to prevent Russia from continuing to destroy the world order that America built," he said.
"I mean, let's be honest, the world we live in was built under American leadership," the Foreign Minister said.
With the war in Ukraine dominating conversations at the World Economic Forum in Davos this week, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy took the opportunity to address the world's business and political elite, including JPMorgan's Jamie Dimon.
According to Daimon, he and other business leaders met with Zelenskiy on Tuesday to discuss "refinancing" Ukraine's recovery from the war with Russia. "So he's starting to think ahead," Daimon said of the Ukrainian president.
Background. To recap, the JPMorgan CEO said that supporting Ukraine is something that fits into the "America First" strategy. He shared that he wears a badge with a Ukrainian flag on his lapel because he is a fan of Ukraine.
