The United States has today allocated $6 billion in military aid to Kyiv. This was announced by Pentagon Secretary Lloyd Austin after a regular meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defence in the Ramstein format.
These funds will allow Washington to purchase weapons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces from American companies, he said.
"I am pleased to announce $6 billion in assistance to Ukraine. This will help us purchase weapons made in the United States.

The order will include
- ammunition for Patriot, HIMARS, NASAMS systems;
