What happened? Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, named the ratio of casualties of Ukraine and the russian federation due to the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Source. Mr. Danilov on the air of Channel 24.
Details. “I can name the ratio of enemy casualties to our casualties. Today they are from 9–10 to 1. For every one of our, unfortunately, fallen soldiers, there are 9 or 10 dead ruscists who invaded our land. This is an extremely interesting indicator, since according to the laws of war, the side conducting an offensive sustains higher losses than the one which defends,” Mr. Danilov noted.
He added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine not only broke down stereotypes in military affairs, but also surprised representatives of NATO countries and partners of Ukraine.
“They are impressed by the quality of the work of our military, our civilians, and our entire society in today's struggle for our independence and freedom. And believe me, not every country is capable of this,” said the NSDC secretary.
Previously. The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 150,000 residents of Kharkiv Oblast from occupation, de-occupying 3,800 square kilometers and more than 300 settlements.
