The russians launched 4 missile and 9 air strikes on Ukraine during the day – General Staff

What happened? During the day, the enemy launched 4 missile and 9 air strikes, carried out more than 11 MLRS attacks on military and civilian facilities on the territory of Ukraine. The Ukrainian defenders hit 11 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment, one position of an anti-aircraft missile system and one ammunition depot.

Details. The enemy continues to focus his efforts on the organisation of defence and holding the captured territories, attempts to fully occupy Donetsk Oblast, as well as disruption of the active actions of the Defence Forces in certain areas.  

The russians fire at the positions of our troops along the contact line, take measures to regroup their units in certain areas, introduce reserves and do not stop conducting aerial reconnaissance.

The threat of air and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.

The infrastructure of more than 24 settlements was damaged. In particular, this concerns Siversk, Kramatorsk, Serebrianka, Bilohorivka, Spirne, Krasnohorivka, Avdiyivka, Novomykhaylivka, Stepove, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Oleksandrivka, Olhivske, Sukhy Stavok, Myroliubivka, and Petrivka.

The situation in the Volynia and Polesia directions has not changed significantly.

In other directions, the enemy inflicts fire from tanks, mortars and artillery, namely:

• in the Siversky direction – in the area of Mykolaivka settlement, Chernihiv Oblast;
• in the Sloboda Ukraine direction – in the vicinity of Ivashki, Hoptivka, Huryiv, Kozachok, Kozacha Lopan, Kudiyivka, Kamyanka, Strelecha, Hlyboke, Kupyansk, and Holubivka settlements;
• in the Kramatorsk sector – in Sviatohirsk, Raihorodok, Serebrianka, Bilohorivka, Sosnove, Mykolaivka, Bohorodychne, Pryshyb, and Hryhorivka;
• in the Bakhmut sector – in Siversk, Verkhniokamyanske, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Odradivka, Vesele, Viyimka, Mykolaivka Druha, New York, Oleksandropil, Yuryivka, Rozhivka, Zaytseve, and Yakovlivka;
• in the Avdiyivka sector – Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Novomykhaylivka, Kostiantynivka, Avdiyivka, Semenivka, Opytne, Karlivka, and Pervomayske were attacked;
• on the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia axes – Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka, Bilohirya, Novoandriyivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Prechystivka, Novomayorske, Myrne, Dorozhnianka, Nove, Vilne Pole, Stepove, Mala Tokmachka, Novoyakovlivka, Chervone, Zaliznychne, Malynivka, Pavlivka, Huliaypilske, Huliaypole, Novopil, and Vremivka were struck;
• in the South Buh direction, the enemy was shelling along the entire contact line. More than 30 settlements were damaged by fire. Among them are Snihurivka, Shyroke, Blahodativka, Novovoznesensk, Suhy Stavok, Myroliubivka, and Olhyne.

The enemy continues to take drastic measures to keep the situation under his control. The command of the 58th Combined Arms Army of the russian occupation troops held a meeting with the commanders of units and units operating in the Zaporizhzhia direction. According to the available information, at the specified event, attention was paid to maintaining the occupied positions and preventing the breakthrough of the Ukrainian Defence Forces deep into the occupied territory.

Previously. According to preliminary data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the russian military was building a new crossing using submerged railway cars near the Kakhovka HPP. Crossing the bridge over the Dnieper River in this area is impossible due to the shelling by the AFU.
