Another prisoner exchange took place. Ukraine has managed to return home 130 soldiers of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, border guards, and the State Special Transport Service.
This was announced by Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President.
It is noted that among them are 87 defenders of Mariupol, 71 of whom are from Azovstal.
In addition, those taken prisoner in the area of Bakhmut and Soledar were returned home – a total of 35 people from the Donetsk sector.
"Most of the people we are returning today have serious injuries. As President Volodymyr Zelensky says, the state must take care of each of them. Each of our heroes must feel that the state cares about them," emphasised Mr. Yermak. He also thanked the Coordination Centre for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
