Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal says the government plans to raise $42 billion from international partners in 2024.
"This year we plan to raise $42 billion from our partners, next year the amount will be the same," Shmyhal said at a press conference on Friday, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
In particular, $18 billion is expected from the European Union, and $1.1-1.2 billion in monthly support from the United States is also expected.
In addition, according to him, there is also the IMF program, the programs of Norway and Japan.
"We have good prospects, but it is very difficult to implement the work in this direction. Our partners have assured us of support as long as it is needed, in the parameters that Ukraine needs," he added.
The Prime Minister emphasized that as of today, negotiations on the required amount of funds for the next year are ongoing.
"I am optimistic that we will be supported and we will have a stable macro-financial budgetary situation," Shmyhal summarized.
