The largest Ukrainian banks are confidently experiencing the risks caused by the war

Vostok Bank is a Ukrainian commercial bank owned by Vostok Capital. According to the results of 2020, it ranks #18 among Ukrainian banks in terms of assets. As of January 1, 2021, the bank's assets amounted to 16.32 billion UAH , which was 51.1% higher than the previous year.
In 2019, the National Bank levied a 300,000 UAH fine on Vostok for failing to properly analyse financial transactions of its clients. The bank also received a warning letter for violating the procedure for submitting information, materials and documents by the bank at the request of the NBU.
In 2020, the bank became a member of the Maritime Chamber of Ukraine. Since April that year, Vostok has been included in the list of banks authorized by the Ministry of Economy to resolve issues related to implementation of state financial support for agricultural producers and processors.
