Azov Regiment: the occupiers deliberately dropping “bunker buster” bombs on “Azovstal”
Civilians are also sheltering at the factory

What happened? The occupiers fire at the “Azovstal” (iron and steel factory) with aerial “bunker buster” bombs.
Source. This was stated by the commander of the Azov Regiment Denys Prokopenko.
Details. He noted that “right now at the “Azovstal” steel factory hundreds of civilians are sheltering, including children of all ages, women, the elderly, families of Mariupol defenders. They are hiding from the “russian world” in basements and bomb shelters. Along with the Ukrainian military, which continues to defend the city, they have found the only possible shelter.
According to him, the russian occupation forces, knowing about civilians there, are deliberately keeping their fire on the factory. They use free fall bombs, rockets, bunker-buster bombs, all varieties of artillery, both ground and naval for indiscriminate attacks.
Prokopenko called on politicians of all civilized world to organize a “green corridor” and provide security guarantees for immediate evacuation of civilians, wounded soldiers, and bodies of dead soldiers to bury them with honors.
Background. Earlier, the commander of the subunit of the Ukrainian Naval Infantry Corps Serhiy Volyna in besieged Mariupol wrote a letter to Pope Francis with a call to rescue the people who remained in the city under heavy fire.
