The Russians are trying to turn the war into a partially protracted one - Podoliak

What happened. It has become known that the Russians are trying to turn the war into a partially protracted one.

Source. This was announced by the adviser to the head of the President's Office Mykhailo Podoliak.

Details. According to him, the reason is extremely extensive losses in personnel and equipment. And also – the lack of any significant progress in all directions.
"This all can't be hidden from the people. Therefore, the Russian leadership is trying to use different tactics so as to dramatically reduce the number of losses to an acceptable level (from a propaganda point of view), and not to receive several hundred dead every day, including top and middle commanders," – Podoliak wrote.
He noted that it is this need to reduce all types of losses and try to "clean up" their rear from disloyal elements (which is almost 90-95% of the civilian population) that the Russians are trying to introduce new mandatory elements in their military tactics.
There is a partial entrenchment of Russians on the occupied grounds, and such a concentration of forces and means of destruction around the Ukrainian large cities is there only to deliberately create thousands of humanitarian catastrophes in them.
"The tactics are absolutely cannibalistic and have clear legal definitions in international law in the area of war crimes and crimes against humanity," said the adviser to the head of the President’s Office.
