Chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Karim Khan visited the city of Bucha, which was liberated from russian occupation. He confirmed that crimes were committed there.

Karim Khan commented on this on his Twitter page.

“Ukraine is a crime scene. We’re here because we have reasonable grounds to believe that crimes within the jurisdiction of the ICC are being committed. We have to pierce the fog of war to get to the truth,” Khan stated.

In the beginning of March the team of the International Criminal Court made their first visit to Ukraine to investigate war crimes.

It was also reported that the Netherlands, Sweden and Germany have pledged $2.7 million to the International Criminal Court (ICC) to support its investigation of the war crimes committed in Ukraine.
