Speaker of the Operational Command “South” Vladyslav Nazarov announced a counteroffensive by the Armed Forces on the southern front.
“The situation on the line of contact has its own dynamics. As a result of the counteroffensive actions of our troops, the enemy suffered significant losses and had to defend itself on unfavorable underequipped borders,” Nazarov said.
“The fighting continues. The invaders continue to fire on civilian infrastructure along the administrative border between Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
Mykolayiv was attacked again by multiple rocket launchers.
The enemy is trying to hurt Ukrainians, hitting residential areas again and again, there are wounded civilians, the information is still being clarified.
In the Kherson region, the roads to the territory controlled by Ukraine are completely blocked.
Cars, with the help of which people are trying to leave the occupied territories, are carefully filtered and returned back,” Nazarov said in his report.
As it was previously reported, Oleksiy Arestovych, an adviser to the head of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had counterattacked the enemy in southern Ukraine. The fighting had taken place in the village of Davydiv Brid.
