A 6-year-old boy who lost his family in Mariupol wrote a letter to Boris Johnson
The British Ambassador to Ukraine shared the letter

Six-year-old Ilya, who lost his family during the fighting in russian-besieged Mariupol, wrote an open letter to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
In the letter, the boy said: “I wish all the children of the world had no war” and thanked Britain for its support.
“I want the war to end sooner so that people don't die anymore. I want to play football at home in Mariupol,” Ilya wrote.
He greeted all the children in Britain.
“Thank you for helping us. We will win! I have a cat called Frosya. I am sending you a flag of Ukraine that I drew.”
The letter was shared by the British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons.
