What happened? The group Kalush Orchestra sold its crystal microphone it awarded for the victory at Eurovision 2022 at a charity auction for $900,000 to raise money for the Ukrainian army.

Details. The charity event started on May 25 and finished at 20:40 on May 28.

The crypto community WhiteBIT became the new owner of the song contest cup.

The auction took place at the same time as the Kalush Orchestra's performance at a charity concert near the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin to raise money for medicines and other necessities for war victims in Ukraine.

In addition, a pink panama, in which the band member Oleg Psiuk performed at Eurovision was sold at the auction for UAH 11 million.
