“The lend-lease has not started yet, but it will be in a few months,” Danilov says
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council emphasizes that the adoption of lend-lease is a very positive decision for Ukraine

It is informed that the supply of weapons under the lend-lease will begin in a few months – in July–August or in September, as it is influenced by many factors.
Source. This was announced by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov in an interview with LIGA.net.
Details. Asked if the lend-lease was overrated, he replied: “Not overrated. There is a special procedure. The lend-lease has not started yet. But the adoption of the law on lend-lease is a very positive decision for us. Everything will be activated, the only question is when exactly. Here we return to the fact that in war, everyoneʼs watches work differently. For some, the day is like the day, but for us it is a completely different dimension,” Danilov said.
According to him, deliveries can begin in July–August or in September.
There are many factors. We need to understand that the world is not that big. Everyone knows what is happening in Ukraine. It is known about the availability of weapons, equipment for its manufacture, and ammunition. Today it turns out that the Soviet-style 122- and 155-caliber ammunition has almost gone,” Danilov said.
Background. In May, US President Joe Biden signed a law on the lend-lease and protection of democracy in Ukraine. According to the law, Ukraine will receive strong military and humanitarian assistance from the United States under the accelerated procedure.
