The Armed Forces may withdraw from Severodonetsk to a stronger position – Haidai

What happened? Serhiy Haidai, the head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, supposes that units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been ordered to withdraw from the territory of Severodonetsk to stronger positions.

Details. According to him, as a result of hostilities and shelling, most of the protective structures on the territory of the Azot chemical plant were destroyed.
“I do not rule out the possibility of withdrawing to new, stronger positions,” Haidai said.
He also stressed that in case of occupation of Severodonetsk, civilians hiding on the territory of the plant will become hostages of the occupiers, because they will be able to go only to the occupied part of Luhansk region.
