The mayor of Berlin talks to the fake Klitschko
Hackers recreate Klitschko's appearance using DeepFake technology

What happened? The hackers recreated the appearance of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko using DeepFake technology to negotiate with Berlin Mayor Franziska Giffey.
Source. This was announced on Twitter by the Office of the Senate of Berlin.
Details. According to the Mayor's press secretary, the first 15 minutes of the conversation didn't arouse any suspicions.
They appeared after Klitschko began to emphasize that refugees were trying to receive social benefits in the German capital. The conversation was interrupted prematurely.
“Unfortunately, it is part of the reality. The war is being waged by all means, including digital ones that undermine the credibility and discredit Ukraine's partners and allies,” said Berlin Mayor Franziska Giffey speaking on the incident.
The falsity of the call was later confirmed by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andriy Melnyk and Vitali Klitschko himself.
