Defense Minister Reznikov announces three main scenarios for the end of the war
The world believes that we can win and we are already winning, the minister emphasized
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov, believes that there are three main scenarios for the development of the situation, which sooner or later will lead to the end of the war.
He described these scenarios during an interview for the Forbes on “Building Together” conference.
“The first scenario would be approximately the same as the “good will” the russians pronounced when they fled from Kyiv Oblast, Chernihiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast and Zmiiny (Snake) Island. According to this scenario, Ukraine will enter the pre-war positions, and then negotiations on the status of Donetsk, Luhansk regions and Crimea will begin with the assistance of Western partners. There definitely will be no capitulation agreements as well as “Minsk-3”, and no one will negotiate with a gun put to the temple,” the Minister of Defense emphasized.
The second option is that we will gradually grind down the armed forces of the russian federation, because this is actually a war of resources against resources. They have more people, territory, tanks, planes, etc., but everything is not modern, everything is old, and today they use the principle of a meat grinder. My good friend and colleague, the Minister of Defense of Great Britain Mr. Wallace, when he paid a visit to Kyiv, said: “If you plan to fight resource against resource, meat grinder against meat grinder, we will not be able to help you. But if we use modern technologies, inflict damage where it hurts the most for the russians, we will definitely win,” the official said.

The second scenario for victory may not be so quick. Not until the end of this year, maybe it will touch the beginning of the next one, but I see it all in this way”, stated Reznikov.
“The third is more dramatic for russia – the collapse of this country, the parade of sovereignties into several different entities: Tatarstan, Bashkirstan etc. We will definitely see it in our lifetime, but it’s a bit of a long story,” Reznikov assured.
