Details. PrivatBank received the most – UAH 4.8 billion, or 78% of the total profit.
“UkrGasBank also made a small profit – UAH 0.4 billion. Other state-owned banks continue to experience losses,” the report said.
The profits of banks with foreign capital amounted to UAH 1.96 billion in May. OTP Bank became the leader among them with UAH 1.1 billion profit. RaiffeisenBank and UkrSibBank gained UAH 500 million and UAH 400 million.
Among this category, ProCredit Bank and OTP Bank suffered the biggest losses in 5 months – UAH 700 million and UAH 600 million.
Among banks with private capital, Pivdenny Bank was in first place with a profit of UAH 300 million, followed by FUIB with a profit of UAH 220 million.
“It is worth noting that the balance sheets of Ukrainian banks with private capital have been remaining positive throughout the months of the war, unlike the rest of the banks,” Opendatamedia pointed out.
Despite the improvement in statistics, the balance sheets of Ukrainian banks still remain negative – UAH 1.3 billion of losses.
