russians have failed to advance in Donetsk Oblast over the past month due to lack of infantry – British intelligence
The Bakhmut direction became the most successful for the occupiers – they managed to advance 10 km

What happened? The russian occupiers have not made significant progress in advancing into Donetsk Oblast over the past 30 days due to a lack of combat-ready infantry.
Source. The intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain.
Details. It is noted that last weekend, russia focused its efforts on reinforcing its defense positions in Southern Ukraine. At the same time, the occupiers do not stop attacking Ukrainian positions in Donetsk Oblast.
British intelligence officers assure that russia’s assault towards the town of Bakhmut has been its most successful direction in the Donbas over the last month; however, russia has only managed to advance about 10km during this time.
“In other Donbas directions where russia was attempting to break through the Ukrainian defenses, its forces have not gained more than 3km during this 30 day period. Significantly less than they had expected. Despite its continued heavy use of artillery, russia has not been able to generate capable combat infantry in sufficient numbers to secure more substantial advances,” the statement of British intelligence reads.
