What happened? At night, the russian occupiers fired missiles at the maternity ward of the Vilniansk hospital in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, killing a newborn baby.

Details. Rescuers reported that on the territory of the local hospital, a two-story building of the outpatient maternity ward was destroyed. At that time, one woman in labour with a newborn baby as well as a doctor were in the department.
“Due to the attack, the infant born in 2022 died, the woman and the doctor were rescued from under the rubble of the building,” the SES added.
According to rescuers, there was no one else under the rubble.
