Unstable power supply in Kyiv may last until spring – Klitschko
Kyiv residents are urged to prepare for such a situation

What happened? Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko states that forced power outages in the capital may last until spring next year.
Source. His interview with RBC-Ukraine.
Details. “We are trying to restore everything as quickly as possible, to switch to clear schedules (of electricity supply – Mind) so that there are no surprises, and then to switch to uninterrupted electricity supply. But we should be prepared for the fact that there may be outages until spring,” he says.
The mayor specifies that the situation is complicated by weather conditions – due to lower air temperature, residents use heating devices more often.
“Please have at home a reserve of technical and drinking water, food that can be cooked or consumed without electricity, warm clothes, charged laptops and power banks, download offline maps to your phones,” the mayor advises.
According to the mayor, 430 heating points have already been opened in the capital, where people will be able to receive the necessary services – heat, water, telecommunications, Internet and others. It is planned to open new ones.
