What happened? Ukrzaliznytsia will not cancel passenger trains in case of new blackouts of the Ukrainian power system, as it did not cancel them during and immediately after the blackout on November 23.

Details. “We are not canceling any trains and they keep running. All our railway stations are lit, there is heat, communication, and electricity at all stations. We will continue working like this,” he said on the sidelines of the Infrastructure Day organised by the European Business Association in Kyiv.
According to the Chairman of the Board, train delays are an inevitable consequence of any blackout. At the same time, he stressed that no trains were going to be canceled – they were expected to continue running.
