Details. The ports of Odesa and Pivdennyi were deprived of the opportunity to carry out cargo operations after the russian kamikaze drone attack that took place on the night of December 10. At the same time, the port of Chornomorsk could operate only partially.
As of December 12, energy companies have restored stable electricity supply to the Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi seaports, and cargo operations are currently underway there. Odesa port is still unable to resume its work.
“Russia has slowed down exports before, creating problems with inspections in the Bosphorus, and the lack of energy supply will certainly make the situation even worse,” Mr. Vostrikov explained.
Background. On the night of December 10, the occupiers attacked several energy infrastructure facilities in Odesa Oblast. As a result, all residents of the oblast were left without electricity, and power was supplied only to critical infrastructure.
As of December 11, electricity supply to 1.2 million consumers was restored. Another 300,000 consumers were still waiting for their turn.
