What happened? IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi promises that in the near future the IAEA will send technical permanent missions to all nuclear power plants in Ukraine.

Details. “Demilitarisation of Zaporizhzhia NPP is point No.1 of President Volodymyr Zelensky's peace plan. This issue was discussed with the head of the IAEA during a meeting in Paris,” Mr. Shmyhal said.
Independent experts of the organisation are to work at Zaporizhzhia, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, South Ukraine and Chornobyl NPPs. According to the Prime Minister, this will significantly increase the technical and technological safety of NPPs.
The missions aim to secure the stations and record all possible attempts of external influences, in particular shelling by the russian aggressor.
