President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, addressing the leaders of the member countries of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF), asked them for various types of weapons necessary for Kyiv to counter russian aggression.

Details. In particular, the Ukrainian President asked British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to increase the supply of air defence systems.
“A lot depends on you – how this war will end. The more successful our defence forces are, the faster the russian aggression will fail,” Mr. Zelensky said during his video link address to leaders of countries in the JEF.
“I ask you to increase the possibility of supplying air defence systems to our country, and to help speed up the relevant decisions to be taken by our partners,” President Zelensky said, addressing Mr. Sunak.
Moreover, Mr. Zelensky asked the Lithuanian President for NASAMS and Stinger systems, the Danish Defence Minister for Caesar howitzers, the Swedish Prime Minister for the Archer artillery system, and the Dutch Defence Minister for tanks.
The UK-led Allied Expeditionary Force is a high-readiness military force capable of rapid deployment and participation in joint operations ranging from humanitarian support and deterrence to combat operations anywhere in the world.
It consists of 10 countries – 8 NATO members, as well as Sweden and Finland, which are in the process of joining the Alliance.
