What happened? Residents of the russian-occupied Mariupol are leaving the city to escape from the cold. The queue stretches for 32 km, the waiting time is up to 24 hours.

Details. “People live mostly on the outskirts. A significant part of the residents moved to country houses to survive the winter with stoves. The number of people leaving the city is growing” Mr. Andriushchenko writes. He adds that so far it is the only available way of salvation. In addition, during the New Year holidays, the occupiers banned any mass events, including celebrations in cafes and restaurants and gatherings of more than 50 people.
Due to the downpour, the Left Bank was again left without electricity, but unlike Kalmiuske Rayon it still has water. “Though right in the apartments. Precipitation at home has already become a typical phenomenon for most Mariupol residents,” says the mayor's advisor.
