Tax Service plans to inspect more than 4000 businesses this year

Details. Currently, the tax authorities are going to conduct documentary audits of 2085 companies, 140 non-resident financial companies, and 1461 sole traders.
In addition, it is planned to inspect the payment of unified social tax and military tax by 9 large businesses, 85 medium, and 232 small ones.
According to the law, companies are at high risk of inspections if:
- their level of income tax payment is 50% lower than the industry average;
- they have relations with counterparties that are wanted or liquidated – if the amount of transactions exceeds 5% of the total volume of transactions, but not less than 100,000 UAH;
- there is an information on tax evasion by the company;
- they have signs of fictitiousness;
- their registration has been cancelled in court;
- in respect of them the fact of failure to submit tax reports for two tax (reporting) periods has been established;
- they are on the wanted list;
- they are declared bankrupt.
