What happened? The recruitment of mercenaries for the newly created Shchyt and Rusich private military companies has been announced by the russian federation in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Details. "Ex-servicemen and other employees of security agencies are invited to join the companies, with priority given to officers. In order to at least somehow attract interest, potential candidates are promised a high monetary maintenance, as well as allegedly not to be involved in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine," the statement reads.

It is noted, that in the vicinity of Radensk village, Kherson Oblast, russian invaders have set up a network of trenches and dugouts using sea containers, which were previously used as a field hospital. 

Over the past 24 hours, russia launched 4 missile strikes (on civilian objects in the towns of Lyman and Chasiv Yar, Donetsk Oblast) and 23 airstrikes. In addition,

69 MLRS attacks took place in other locations. There is a danger of air and missile strikes on the whole territory of Ukraine.

Over the past day, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine repelled attacks of the occupiers near Stelmakhivka and Kreminna settlements, Luhansk Oblast; Rozdolivka, Sil, Krasna Hora, Paraskoviyivka, Pidhorodne, Bakhmut, Klishchiyivka, Mayorsk, Pervomayske, and Krasnohorivka localities, Donetsk Oblast.
