UPDATED: The death toll from attack on Dnipro has increased to 29 people

UPDATED:

As of now, 29 Ukrainians have been reported dead. A total of 73 people were injured, 30 of them are currently in hospital, 12 are in serious condition.

Rescuers managed to pull out 39 residents of the house from under the rubble, including a 27-year-old woman who is now in intensive care. At the same time, the fate of another 40 people is unknown.

Meanwhile, firefighters managed to extinguish the fire, the search operations have been going on for more than a day. 550 rescuers, police officers, doctors, public utilities and volunteers are engaged in clearing the debris and searching for people.

At 3:17 p.m., the State Emergency Service reported 25 dead people as a result of an attack on a high-rise building. Among them, there is one child. More than 70 people received injuries of varying degrees of severity, 40 of them were hospitalised and are in serious or critical condition. 

The search and rescue operation is ongoing. At the same time, specialists of the Prosecutor General's Office, forensic experts, police and SBU investigators are working at the site.

As of 10:00 a.m., 21 people have been reported dead as a result of a russian missile strike on a residential building in Dnipro.

The search for missing persons continues. There are still at least 37 people under the rubble.


The SES reports operational information on the elimination of the consequences of the russian strike on a high-rise building in Dnipro.

Details. As of 8 p.m., 35 people (including 6 children) were rescued. 5 people (including 1 child) were killed, 64 people (including 14 children) were injured.

Extinguishing of some fires in the rubble continues. The damaged and surviving parts of the house are being inspected.

Psychologists of the State Emergencies Service are working on the spot (32 people have been provided with assistance) and 2 heating points have been set up.

The search for people under the rubble has been organised. The site is provided with illumination and dangerous structural elements are being dismantled.

In total, more than 340 people and 67 units of equipment are engaged in the works. Of those, more than 120 people and 26 units of equipment are of the State Emergency Service.

In addition, 4 canine teams of the Interregional Centre for Rapid Response of SES of Ukraine (Romny town) and 20 rescuers and 4 units of equipment of the Kyiv Mobile Rescue Centre of the SES of Ukraine are involved.
