Commander of the Air Forces: Ukrainian Armed Forces have no means to shoot down Kh-22 missiles that were used to strike Dnipro
Only anti-aircraft systems that have not yet entered service in Ukraine are capable of intercepting such missiles

What happened? For yesterday's attack on a high-rise building in Dnipro, the russians used Kh-22 missiles. The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have systems that can shoot down this type of enemy weapons.
Source. Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Details. The warhead weight of the Kh-22 missile is about 950 kg. The maximum range is up to 600 km. When used from long distances, the deviation from the target can be hundreds of metres.
Only anti-aircraft missile systems, which in perspective could be provided to Ukraine by Western partners (such systems as Patriot PAC-3 or SAMP-T) are capable of intercepting these air targets.
Since the beginning of russia's military aggression, more than 210 missiles of this type have been launched at the territory of Ukraine. Not a single one was shot down by air defence systems.
Background. On January 14, one of the Kh-22 missiles launched from the Kursk Oblast hit a high-rise building in Dnipro (on Naberezhna Peremohy Street). As a result, 21 people died.
Earlier, Advisor to the President's Office Oleksiy Arestovych said that Ukrainian air defence had shot down the russian Kh-22 missile and it fell on a building in Dnipro.
