Details. "I informed Mr. President of the decisions Ukraine had made and the progress we had achieved. I would like to note that this year we should start negotiations on Ukraine's membership in the EU. This is our goal. We have all the necessary prerequisites for this. We have great motivation and desire. We are moving forward," the President stated.
He expressed hope that the next step on Ukraine's path to the EU could be an interim positive assessment of the Ukrainian side's efforts by the EU.
"Ukraine and the EU have already achieved significant historical results in their historic rapprochement. We are working to achieve much more. Our goal is Ukraine's full membership in the European Union. I am sure that we will achieve this goal," Mr. Zelensky summarised.
